Data Deletion

Full account and data deletion in compliance with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure). Delete your account and all associated data at any time.

01Self-Service Deletion

The quickest way to delete your data is through the application:

  1. Sign in to your Schedule & Share account
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Navigate to Privacy
  4. Click Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion request

02Disconnecting Connected Services

You can disconnect any connected third-party service (Notion, Google Drive, Dropbox, Zapier, Canva, Slack) at any time, in two ways.

From within ScheduleAndShare

Go to Settings → Integrations, find the service, and click Disconnect. This immediately revokes our access and stops all future syncing.

From the provider directly

What happens to your data

When you disconnect a service, we stop accessing it immediately and delete the access tokens we hold for it. Content already imported to create your posts is deleted as follows, or sooner on request:

  • Disconnect a single service — tokens deleted immediately; imported media/content tied only to that service deleted within 30 days.
  • Delete your entire account — go to Settings → Account → Delete account, or email privacy@scheduleandshare.com. All connected-service tokens and imported data are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Manual request — email privacy@scheduleandshare.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and we will action it within 30 days.

We retain connected-service data only as long as needed to provide the feature you requested, and we never sell or share it for advertising. Minimal records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or security purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

03What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we execute a comprehensive 8-step cascade to remove all your data:

Revoke OAuth tokens
STEP 1

Access tokens actively revoked with each connected platform (Facebook, Google, X, TikTok).

Cancel scheduled posts
STEP 2

All pending scheduled posts are cancelled and will not be published.

Delete connected accounts
STEP 3

Platform connection records and encrypted credentials are permanently removed.

Delete delivery logs
STEP 4

All publishing history and delivery records are permanently removed.

Delete posts
STEP 5

All post content, media references, and metadata are permanently removed.

Delete schedules
STEP 6

All schedule records are permanently removed.

Delete audit logs
STEP 7

All audit trail entries associated with your account are permanently removed.

Anonymize user record
STEP 8

Email, name, and personal data are replaced with anonymous placeholders.

04Grace Period

30 days between deletion request and execution. During the grace period:

  • Your account is suspended (no login or publishing)
  • All your data is preserved but inaccessible
  • You can contact us to cancel the deletion request
  • You can export your data before final deletion
Irreversible after grace period

After the grace period, the deletion cascade is executed automatically and cannot be reversed.

05Export Your Data First

Before deleting, export your data:

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Export Data
  2. Your data will be downloaded as a structured JSON file
  3. The export includes your profile, posts, schedules, delivery logs, and audit logs
  4. Sensitive credentials (passwords, OAuth tokens) are excluded for security

07Manual Deletion Request

If you cannot access your account, request data deletion by email:

  • Include the email address associated with your account
  • We will verify your identity before processing the request
  • Your request will be processed within 30 calendar days

08Content Already Published

Important

Deleting your Schedule & Share account does not remove content already published to social media platforms. To remove published posts, delete them directly on each platform. Schedule & Share only deletes its own records and revokes the OAuth access it holds.
